A few years ago, I stepped into Zack’s Dance Loft and found a place where I could challenge myself and come alive through dance.
My Favorite Dance Studio
I walked into the studio knowing the basic salsa steps I learned growing up with my family, and Zack introduced me to and taught me a far more intricate, modern styles of salsa that was born in Los Angeles and New York City. …underground salsa night clubs and salsa dance socials and congresses...it became an addiction; it was an amusing communicable sport that became an expansion of my comfort zone in this crazy, crazy world. And then I fell in love with belly dance and spanish/arabic fusion, which was introduced by very talented and inspiring guest belly dance instructors.
Highlights
• Partnered with so many students, learned so many dances!
• Performed with Zack at JCC's New Years Dance Marathon.
• Partnered with Zack in dance demo video clips
• Assisted in coordinating the performance of a group of talented young students

• Competed in The East Coast Classics, under "Rising Star competitor"
...... at the Mid-Atlantic's premiere belly dance contest in Virginia Beach

Rewards
I've been known to spend too much time at the studio… :) …but I’ve been fortunate enough to meet many fascinating people here and have compiled a mountain of great memories and very special friends. I have experienced a great deal of interesting challenges, but in the end, dancing acted as my savior and Zack's Dance Loft was like a home away from home.
...oh and Zack is pretty cool too! :)
